Our economy, since December 2007,
has lost 1.4 million manufacturing workers. (You know those will paying jobs.) These have been replaced almost one
to one, with new waiters and bartenders. Where have those manufacturing jobs gone? Of course, the answer is China. But, we have
offset those high-paying jobs with low paying, part-time, bartenders and
waiters. Yes, indeed, this is our new economic paradigm. We are in a “world of
hurt” as a nation.
